उद्योगों में दुर्घटना होने की दशा में पुलिस, मैनेजमेंट के विरुद्ध एफ आई आर बिना किसी जांच के दर्ज कर लेती है जिससे मैनेजमेंट की दुर्घटना में इंवॉल्वमेंट ना होने पर भी उसे परेशान करती है। इस परिस्थिति में दुर्घटनाग्रस्त कर्मचारी की मैनेजमेंट चाह कर भी सहायता नहीं कर पाती है क्योंकि उसे अपने विरुद्ध लिखी गई एफ आई आर से बचने की कार्यवाही मे लगना पड़ता है। विशेष पुलिस महानिदेशक उत्तर प्रदेश द्वारा DGP U.P. के अनुमोदन पर उत्तर प्रदेश के समस्त वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारियों को 8 अगस्त 2023 को निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं, जिसमें उद्योगों में दुर्घटना के होने पर यदि मैनेजमेंट की सीधी इंवॉल्वमेंट ना हो तो उसके खिलाफ FIR ना लिखने के निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त भी उद्योगों को अनावश्यक रूप से प्रताड़ित करने अथवा उनके विरुद्ध एफ आई आर दर्ज न करने के लिए भी स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
